Maybe wanting to punch a hole in the home dressing room door to make them a matching pair.

Just hope to god its only for the coming two weeks by which time we could be bottom of the league.Cant see us getting anyone credible for the job, would have to put up with the shite his predescesors have had rightly or wrongly. There again there are plenty to chose from going by the list being spouted about.Incidently noticed an earlier poster suggesting possibly going for David Bingham or Big Marv or Barry Wilson.Would hate to see them back at the club at this time as i feel this would only damage their undoubted legendery status at the club.Nice thought though.I await with baited breath.

Maybe Jose would like to invest in a small, forward think Scottish club and take the reigns of the coaching at the same time?

He would fit right in at Livi, he likes causing friction to get a them and us attitude to motivate his players, wouldn't have to try very hard here, everyone already hates us.

Might get a load of Celtic fringe and youth players on loan in Jan then. Allan and Stokes would do nicely. santa

Danny Lennon had agreed to be assistant at Airdrie but looks like he pulled out to apply to Livi.

Lennon has a decent track record. Alloa were already a lost cause before he took over and they'll struggle to stay in this league.

We could do a lot worse.

Doubt he'd be asking for too much money either with him being at Alloa and ready to be assistant at Airdrie.

Wouldn't mind if it we got him in. I also have a fiver on it, so there's another reason.

Calderwood for me. Done a class job with Aberdeen, reckon he would do us a few favours in this league.

Don't think we could afford Calderwood; is he still out of the game just now? If so I am surprised.

Never taken to him but he just might be the sort of larger than life character the club needs to get it jumping again.

In terms of affordability, Murray, Frail or Lennon are most likely the cheapest; I don't think Dick Campbell would want it following various health scares over recent years.

Calderwood isn't doing anything just now, bewildered as to why he hasn't got any of the recent managers jobs.

Maybe he won't apply and is waiting for someone to go to him.

I suppose Hopkin was asked about Burchill in this interview but I don't think it's what he should be talking about going into his first game in charge.

I hope he's totally focussed on the game.

Simplistic view that the goal Dumbarton scored cost Burchill his job, it was the final straw but tbh even if we'd won he'd always have been one result away from the same fate. Both the Alloa game and the Dumbarton one showed up poor decision making from Burchill. The fact Hopkin is also talking about HANGING on for the 1 goal win is highlighting why he was sacked, we shouldn't have been hanging on, that was the reason we lost a late goal. We should've gone out the 2nd half to build on our lead and win comfortably.

Worrying thing is Hopkin doesn't seem to see that, and is saying he wont change much going into the St Mirren game, his approach will be the same. I think I need to change my prediction to a St Mirren win if that's his game plan. Shocked

Well he used all of his subs up so that was an improvement. Came out the 2nd half and didn't sit in to hold onto our 2-1 lead too which was good. I'll wait till the Falkirk game to see how we get on before making up my mind, will be a more difficult game for us so need good decisions from the dig out.

Only scored four, conceded a goal, and White never scored. Need to bring someone in ASAP.

It could be the proverbial response to a change in leadership (which didn't happen when Burchy replaced McGlynn) or maybe Hopkin is the one that deserves the credit for when we played well?

Either way I don't care, we won by a distance by the look of it and we have shown we are capable of better. Of course it was away from home, so I'll be somewhat reserved in assessing the situation until the home form turns around.
