Stranraer v Livi (Wed) 7.45pm ko

Post by Liviforever on Sun May 01, 2016 5:14 pm

Hopefully Halkett is ok after his cut to the head, and Cole isn't playing.

Don't know if Ben Gordon is still injured and going to miss out on the play offs, was hoping he'd be back for them.

...................................McCallum

Kakay...............Halkett............Neill/Gordon..........Longridge

Mullen...............Stanton..............Pittman...............Telfer

...........................Buchanan..........White

2-0 Livi, fg 13 mins.

Will be a nightmare if we're now without Halkett as well as Gordon for this. Neill and Cole at CB won't fill me with too much confidence.

Spoke briefly to Gordon at the player of the year and asked him how he was. Got the impression he is not just right yet. Sad

Switch Mullin for Mullen and IMO we'd be stronger. I also can't see Hoppy going with 2 up front but I agree that he should.

Yeah that's who I meant, Josh Mullin. This Millen, Mullin, Mullen, it gets confusing at times. Laughing

Then there's Mallan at St Mirren, McMullan at Morton, think there is another Mullen somewhere too.

I am presently mulling over your comment Liviforever and becoming increasingly confused. Rolling Eyes

Actually I thought Mullin did okay at right back and Kakay is better further forward otherwise good to go.

Bet Longridge is right up for this one wanting to impress his old club.

You're prob right D, though I've put them in their supposed natural positions. Kakay does look better on the LM in front of Longridge than at L or R back.
I like Halkett at RB but with our CB situation he's better playing CB, his natural position. And Mullin would prob be better at RB, with Kakay playing LM, and Telfer RM.

Personally with the exeption of Cole i couldnt give a rats arse who plays where tommorow night.Hopkin cant afford to make a pigs ear of his selection with the players he has at his disposal in this instance. No more excuses ,this is is it.With all due respects to our opponenents if we cant beat Stranraer over two legs then im affraid we seriously do not deserve to be in this league.Come out the traps flying and get tore right in about them,i reckon they wont know whats hit them if we get this right.Mr cock up is locked safely out of harms way for gods sake Livi dont let him out.Over to you guys Cmon!!!!

Jordon White in goal and Marc McCallum up front it is then, big Mc scored in the bounce game against the GS, reckon Hopkin was testing him out for the play offs.

Only joking btw, don't blame me if Hopkin does it.lol!

Our players are up staying overnight so they're well prepared for this game, worked out well against Peterhead earlier in a cup game so here's hoping we get the same result.

Pretty much the starting 11 I wanted only Mullen is there instead of Telfer. Hopefully the players are in the positions they should be though.

Tonight's starting XI - McCallum, Halkett, Buchanan, Neill, Longridge, Kakay, Pittman, Mullin, Stanton, White & Mullen

Tonight's subs - Jamieson, Sheerin, Currie, Telfer, Fotheringham, Knox & Cole
