Championship Games 16th Dec

Post by Liviforever on Sat Dec 16, 2017 11:10 am

With us not playing all we can do is wait and see how the other games go, would be superb if we're still in the top 4 with 3 games in hand, and with Dunfermline playing St Mirren there is every chance we will be. Only other team that could've gone ahead of us were Morton, and they were playing us, so that alnt happening.

Only games that affect us is:

QoS v Utd

St Mirren v Dunfermline

2 draws would be good for all our four main rivals dropping points, but realistically we're playing for 3rd to 5th place so wins for Utd and St Mirren would prob be best for us.

St Mirren 1-0 Dunfermline.

Still in 4th place and now 3 games in hand over Dunfermline.

Also 3 games in hand over St Mullen (he was on the bench - don't know if he got on or not) - 3 wins would pit us 1 point behind them as things stand

I didn't say we would win them... Just what would happen if we did.

My predictions will be much more in keeping with my expectation levels

May as well stick to this thread rather than starting a new one for tonight's fames.

ICT v Utd.
St Mirren v Dumbarton.

The Utd game is of more interest to us, and a draw looks a likely result going by their prev games against one another, and both of them having piss poor current form.

Suppose the Dumbarton game is of interest in respect of us playing them on Sat, and hoping it takes a lot out of them, but until St Mirren are officially champions I hope they get pumped.

Saints won 5-0
Caley won 1-0

Saints are disappearing into the sunset... I don't think they have dropped a point since we whipped them (maybe have)

United look out of the chase for second at the minute

That'll do us, Dumbarton humped silly in a demoralising defeat before playing us, and Utd lost to ICT, we're cruising 2nd now.

At this rate Utd aren't going to make the play offs, they're only just above Brechin in form over the last 6 games, it is wide open for either QoS or Dunfermline to get 4th place.

I wonder if Laszlo will get punted before the end of the season. I hope not, but Paul Sturrock is apparently at the club "helping out" these days. Wink
